2 terrorists killed in encounter in J-K’s Shopian, operation underway
Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area in south Kashmir following information about the presence of militants in the area, a police official said.
Two unidentified terrorists have been killed in an encounter that broke out at Kanigam area of Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, Kashmir Zone Police has said.
Security powers dispatched a cordon and search activity in the zone in south Kashmir following data about the presence of aggressors in the zone, a police official said. He said as the powers were directing inquiries, aggressors terminated upon them. The powers fought back and an experience resulted.
The activity started on Friday late evening following explicit information sources. Two armed force jawans were likewise harmed in the activity the previous evening, ANI cited Dilbagh Singh, DG, J-K Police as saying. The two fear-based oppressors killed today had a place with Al-Badr, while the activity is as yet in progress there is no loss from our side, he added.
