A WhatsApp feature is coming in Facebook Messenger app

Social networking site Facebook is testing new features for its Messenger app. With this feature, the Messenger app will get additional security. According to a report by Engadget, this feature will give the Messenger app a biometric authentication tool that users will be able to use through Face ID or fingerprint. This feature is already present in WhatsApp. Through this feature, users will also be able to set the lock time in the app as in WhatsApp.
Users will get 4 timing options With the help of this feature, users get 4 options to lock the app. There is an option in ‘After I Live Messenger’. That is, the app will be locked as soon as you exit the app. Apart from this, you will be able to choose 1 minute, 15 minutes, and 1-hour options.
This feature in the testing phase
According to a spokesperson of Facebook, this feature is currently under testing phase and some iOS users can use it. Soon this feature will also be available for Android users.
Will work like authentication feature of WhatsApp
This feature on Messenger will work just as it does on WhatsApp. Although on WhatsApp, users get 3 options to lock the app, in Messenger, you will get four options for this.
