Adesh Kumar Gupta replaces Manoj Tiwari as Delhi BJP President
Adesh Kumar Gupta, the Former North Delhi Mayor replaces North East Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari as Delhi BJP President.
Manoj Tiwari challenged in 2014 as a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate and won. He was delegated as Delhi BJP president in 2016.
Adesh Kumar Gupta was chosen unopposed as Mayors of North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC) in 2018.

Manoj Tiwari has been replaced by BJP, who has been made the state president of Delhi, named Adesh Gupta. Adesh Gupta was the mayor of North MCD till one year ago. It is believed that the BJP has put forward this face to please the business class. By removing Manoj Tiwari, the BJP has appointed a grassroots and Delhi-based leader, whose demand had been in demand for a long time. Adesh Gupta used to run his home by teaching tuition at one time.

Manoj Tiwari was detained along with party workers on Monday on charges of violating the lockdown rule. They had gathered at Rajghat to protest against the Arvind Kejriwal government’s failure to control Kovid-19 in Delhi. Earlier too, Manoj Tiwari was accused of breaking the lockdown. He reached Haryana to play a cricket match. There, during the match, he neither applied a mask nor violated social distancing.
The crushing defeat in the Delhi elections is also believed to be the reason behind the removal of Manoj Tiwari. Assembly elections were held in Delhi in February 2020. BJP got a total of 8 seats in this. The party contested this election under the chairmanship of Manoj Tiwari.
