Around 5,000 nurses of the Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Monday (December 14) decided to go on an indefinite strike with immediate effect over redressal of their demands, including those related to the 6th Central Pay Commission.

As per Delhi AIIMS Nurse’s Union, the nation’s top clinical foundation is recruiting attendants from outside on an agreement premise. The strike was before booked to be seen from December 16 (Wednesday).

The sum total of what administrations have been hindered as the Delhi AIIMS Nurse’s Union made a major stride after AIIMS organization and wellbeing division rejected their requests.

AIIMS Director Dr. Randeep Guleria stated, “They have 23 requests. Practically all the requests have been met by the AIIMS organization and government. I offer all medical attendants and nursing officials not to protest during this season of the plague.”

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has requested that the attendants cancel strikes or exacting moves will be made against them under the Disaster Management Act. “The Ministry is available to set the new interest before suitable experts for thoughtful thought and thusly the AllMS Nurses Union might be mentioned to reevaluate and pull out require any strike, particularly during these difficult occasions, because of the public need of viably handling Covid-19 pandemic,” the Health Ministry said in a proclamation.

IANS revealed that the attendants association of AIIMS asserted that the clinic organization has acquainted agreement terms with their work which constrained them to pre-empt their strike. It said that the choice has come as a stun to the entire clique.
