Barrackpore MLA Shilbhadra Dutta resigned from the Trinamool Congress on Friday in the third major exit from the party in the last 24 hours.
Dutta, a two-term MLA, said he has sent the acquiescence letter to Trinamool Congress boss Mamata Banerjee by email, setting off theories that he may join an extensive rundown of gathering pioneers who have either joined the BJP or is willing to in front of the get-together races, likely in March-April.
“I feel that I am unsuitable in the gathering in the current situation. In any case, I won’t leave as an MLA,” he told columnists.
