While Bachhwara MLA Ramdeo Rai kicked the bucket a month ago, Gobindpur MLA Purnima Yadav quit the gathering and joined the JD(U). Since his Manjhi seat has gone to the CPM, Dubey has been handled from the Maharajganj seat.
In Rosera seat in Samastipur area, the gathering has handled Nagendra Paswan instead of sitting MLA Ashok Kumar. Kumar has been handled from the neighboring Kusheshwar Asthan in Dharbanga area.
The gathering will challenge 70 seats in the elections, while its union gathering RJD will challenge 144 seats. Plus, an aggregate of 29 seats host been allotted to three Left gatherings—CPI-ML (19), CPI (6), CPM (4)— to challenge.
