The police said that terrorists fired upon Sajjad Ahmad outside his residence. He was rushed to the hospital where authorities declared him brought dead.

Sarpanch of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) died in South Kashmir’s Qazigund area, in Kulgam district, after being attacked by terrorists.

According to the police, the attack took place on Thursday morning. The sarpanch has been identified as Sajjad Ahmad.

The police said that fear-based oppressors terminated upon Ahmad outside his home. He was raced to the medical clinic where specialists announced him brought dead.

This was the second assault on a sarpanch by fear-based oppressors over the most recent three days.

Prior, the fear-based oppressors had assaulted BJP sarpanch from Akhran in a similar locale. Sarpanch Arif Ahmad was basically harmed in the assault.

A month ago, previous BJP locale president Waseem Bari, his dad, and siblings were killed inside their shop after activists terminated on them from short proximity. Bari had 10-part police security and every one of them was suspended and captured in light of the fact that they were not with him when he was assaulted.

In June, Congress sarpanch Ajay Kumar Pandita was murdered outside his home at Lokbhawan in Anantnag locale.
