CBSE is starting some special training programs for digital platforms. For this, the board has partnered with Facebook. Registration for training has started.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is starting special training related to digital platforms for both school students and teachers. The special thing is that for this the board has partnered with Facebook. Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank himself has given this information.

Interested teachers and students will have to register online for this training. The registration process has started from today (6 July).

How to register

Registration can be done from 6 July to 20 July 2020. The board has issued a notification in this regard. It states that schools will have to nominate their teachers and students for this training program. You can see its details in the notice given below.

Which subjects will be trained

Augmented Reality – This subject will be trained for teachers only. In the first phase, 10,000 teachers from across the country will get a chance to join it. Its training will start on 10 August 2020.

Digital Safety, Online Well Being, and Instagram Toolkit – Training of these subjects will be given to the students. In the first phase, 10,000 students will get a chance. This training will start on 6 August 2020.

Nishank has told about this move of CBSE via tweet. He wrote in the tweet that ‘I applaud CBSE and Facebook for introducing Augmented Reality for Teachers and Digital Safety Training Programs for Students. I also encourage teachers and students to participate in these programs.
