China forces Christians: China has now issued dictatorial decrees against Christians. The Communist Party of China has ordered that Christian believers remove the picture and cross of Jesus from their homes and put a photo of President Jinping and Communist Party founder Mao Zedong.

Highlights

  • After Muslims, China moves against Christians, picture of Jesus and order to remove church marks
  • The Chinese government said – Christians should put pictures of Communist Party founder Mao Zedong and President Jinping in homes
  • China is brutally persecuting Muslims in Xinjiang, US-imposed a ban on many Chinese officials

China, which ran a repression cycle against Uygur Muslims in Xinjiang Province, has now issued dictatorship decrees against Christians. The Communist Party of China has ordered that Christian believers remove the picture and cross of Jesus from their homes and put a photo of President Jinping and Communist Party founder Mao Zedong.

Government vandalized thousands of churches

According to a report by Radio Free Asia, China is already infamous for crushing religious freedom. Even before this order, the government has removed pictures and crosses of Jesus from thousands of churches located in several states including Hubei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anshui. There are also reports that several churches have also been vandalized at the behest of the Chinese government. The population of Christians in China is around 7 crores.

Not only Christians but also Muslims on China’s target

China is accused of forcibly imprisoning millions of Uygur Muslims living in Xinjiang province in human rights detention camps. While millions were secretly murdered in the name of protest. Not only this, but China is also forcibly sterilizing Uygur Muslims. So that their population does not increase. China is also accused of ending the religious freedom of Uygur Muslims.

What is the trend of Muslim countries including Pakistan

So far no Muslim country has openly opposed China regarding the atrocities on Uygur Muslims. Not a word has emerged from the mouths of Muslims around the world, from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan to the Uygurs. All these countries do not want to fall prey to China’s enmity. However, their attitude towards Muslims is very strict in any other part of the earth.

America took strict steps on Uygur case

The US had on July 9 banned three senior Chinese Communist Party officials for human rights abuses of Uygur Muslims. The US had already warned of stern action against China. It is being said that the US is also planning to take action against many other Chinese officials.
