Congress leader Ahmed Patel admitted to ICU, condition ‘stable’
Senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel has been admitted to the ICU of Medanta Hospital in Gurugram’s Haryana.
Senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel has been admitted to the ICU of Medanta Hospital in Gurugram’s Haryana, his family informed on Sunday (November 15). It is to be noted that Ahmed Patel had tested positive for coronavirus on October 1.
Patel’s child, Faisal Patel, posted a tweet saying the Rajya Sabha MP’s condition is “steady” and that he “keeps on being under clinical perception”.
“For the benefit of his family, we might want to share that Shri Ahmed Patel had tried positive for Covid19 half a month prior. He has now been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon for additional therapy. His condition is steady and he keeps on being under clinical observation…We demand you to appeal to God for his quick recuperation,” Faisal Patel tweeted.

A few senior Congress pioneers, including Anand Sharma and Shashi Tharoor, wished 71-year-old Patel a quick recuperation.
“Profoundly concerned and petitioning God for the great wellbeing of my companion and confidant Ahmed Patel. It would be ideal if you go along with us in petitioning God for his initial recuperation,” senior Congress pioneer Anand Sharma tweeted.
Tharoor portrayed Mr. Patel as an “unprecedented figure in India legislative issues” and wished him well.
Prior, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh took to Twitter to advise that he has tried positive for Covid. “I have tried positive for COVID-19. I demand each one of the individuals who came in close contact with me as of late, to self-confine and get tried,” tweeted the 59-year-old Manipur.
