Congress to Fight Upcoming DDC Election with Gupkar Alliance
Both National Conference president Farooq Abdullah, who is the chairperson of the Alliance, and his deputy, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, have confirmed that Congress was fighting the DDC polls jointly with the forum.
The Congress in Jammu and Kashmir has said that remains a part of the grouping, People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) and would fight the upcoming District Development Council polls “together”.
The Congress said it had kept up a “strategic” good ways from the discussion during the Bihar races. “We are the first signatories of the Gupkar affirmation and hereafter will effectively work with Gupkar Alliance,” a senior chief revealed to News 18.
