Congress mayoral candidate N Venugopal has lost to the BJP candidate by one vote, in the Kochi Corporation North Island ward in the state’s local body elections.
“It was a certain seat. I can’t state what occurred. There was no issue in the gathering. There was an issue with the democratic machine. That might be the explanation behind BJP’s triumph,” Mr. Venugopal said.
