Cooking gas cheaper by more than Rs 260 during lockdown

LPG cylinder price: At the beginning of July, the common man has received a setback. The price of cooking gas has risen for the second consecutive month, although this is a minor change. In the metros, the price of 14 kg non-subsidized gas cylinders has gone up by Rs 4.50. Different cities have different price changes. By the way, if we talk about lockdown then during this time it has become cheaper at around Rs 260.
Due to the protests across the country, petrol and diesel prices remained steady for the second consecutive day. The price of petrol and diesel changes daily and the price of LPG cylinder changes on the first of every month.
The non-subsidized 14.2 kg cylinder is priced at Rs 594 in Delhi, Rs 620.50 in Kolkata, Rs 594 in Mumbai and Rs 610.50 in Chennai. In the month of June, this price was Rs 593 for Delhi, Rs 616 in Kolkata, Rs 590.50 in Mumbai and Rs 606.50 in Chennai.
The domestic gas price skyrocketed in February, just before the Corona lockdown (lockdown was implemented across the country on 25 March). Its price has come down drastically in the last four months. The price change took place on the 12th of February.
The 14 kg non-subsidized gas cylinder was priced at Rs 858.50 in Delhi, Rs 896 in Kolkata, Rs 829.50 in Mumbai and Rs 881 in Chennai after the price spike on 12 February. In such a situation, the price of gas has fallen by Rs 260 in the last four months.
If you talk about a 19 kg cylinder, it costs Rs 1135.50 in Delhi, Rs 1197.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1090.50 in Mumbai and Rs 1255 in Chennai. In the month of June it was priced at Rs 1139.50 in Delhi, Rs 1193.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1087.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 1254 in Chennai.
