Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is exploring all the possibilities by which life can be burnt in the economy. In this sequence, the PM has to meet with the top 50 officers of the Ministries of Finance and Commerce and get their opinion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is meeting with top officials of the Ministry of Finance and Commerce to decide the strategy of how to overcome the economy of the country affected by Corona. Sources have informed that they are seeking opinions from the top 50 officials of both ministries on the future strategy in view of the current state of the economy.
For this, the PM interacted with the officials through video conferencing for one and a half hours. During this, the officials shared their ideas with the PM through a presentation. Earlier, the PM held separate meetings with the Economic Advisory Council as well as the Chief and Principal Economic Advisers of the Ministry of Finance and NITI Aayog.
According to sources, the prime minister’s full focus is on the revival of the economy in the face of a sharp drop in consumer demand due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. That is why the government announced a corona package of Rs 20.97 lakh crore in May, which is one of the major packages announced by governments across the world to deal with the epidemic.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that the government is assessing the impact of Kovid-19 on the Indian economy.
While giving the detailed information of the package, he said that further steps will be taken if the need arises.
In fact, Corona has given a tremendous blow to the already hiccuping Indian economy, which has completely turned it down. Now, to bring it back on track, the government is pushing hard. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has taken over the reins of the economy salvation campaign.
