There is another worrying news for Delhi battling the coronavirus. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s health has deteriorated. He has a mild fever and sore throat since Sunday. Given the risk of coronavirus, they will be tested tomorrow. All their meetings on Monday have been canceled. According to reports, Kejriwal held a press conference in Delhi yesterday to inform about the situation in Corona. After which his health got disturbed a bit. As a precaution, they have placed themselves in home isolation. The AAP government has banned the corona test of asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic cases in Delhi. Only symptomatic suspects are tested.

Trying to Quarantine started

Saurabh Bhardwaj, a minister in the Delhi government, confirmed Kejriwal’s ill health in a conversation with a channel. He said that in the last few days, those who came in contact with CM have started taking precautions. Bhardwaj said that ‘CM Self is in Quarantine. You will know tomorrow morning after the test. The minister said that the meetings of the cabinet were done from far and wide. Government officials should use caution.

The explosion of corona cases in Delhi

The number of coronavirus cases in the country’s capital is increasing rapidly. By Monday morning, there were about 29 thousand cases in Delhi. Of these, 10,999 corona patients have become healthy so far. At the same time, 17,125 active patients are still undergoing treatment. According to the Delhi government, 12,213 corona patients have been asked to remain in isolation in their homes. The death toll has reached 812 here. The number of corona hotspots in Delhi has also increased to 169.

‘Case will double in two weeks’

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain says that in the next two weeks, Corona cases in the capital will double to 56 thousand. Amidst all this, the Delhi government has announced the opening of shopping malls, religious places, and restaurants from Monday. But the hotel and banquet hall will remain closed. This discount is given under unlock-1.

Only Delhi patients are treated in hospitals

On Sunday, CM announced through video conferencing that only residents of Delhi will be treated in private hospitals. Kejriwal had said that only the people of Delhi will be treated in the hospitals under Delhi government and private hospitals in Delhi. At the same time, all people will be able to get treatment in central government hospitals like AIIMS, Safdarjung and Ram Manohar Lohia (RML), as has been happening so far. However, some private hospitals that do special surgeries which are not available elsewhere, anyone from all over the country can come to Delhi, it will not be stopped.

Delhi needs 1 thousand beds in June

On Sunday, the Chief Minister had said, “We have received suggestions that if all the hospitals in Delhi are opened to everyone, then 9000 Kovid-19 beds available in the hospitals will be filled within 3 days.” A special committee formed by the Delhi government has expressed the possibility of Delhi needing 15,000 beds by the end of June.
