Delhi Covid situation should be under control in 7-10 days: Arvind Kejriwal

Expressing concern over the spike in Covid-19 cases in the national capital, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Friday that his government is planning to take steps in the coming week to address the issue. He also said the situation is expected to come under control in another seven to ten days.
Notwithstanding, he didn’t expand on the choices being considered by the public authority to control the continuous spike in cases and recorded passings. The CM also said that contamination is a contributing variable in the spike in the Covid illness cases.
Senior government authorities said the public authority has asked the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) – which is led by lieutenant lead representative Anil Baijal – to assemble a gathering by Tuesday to talk about the strategy.
“The Covid-19 circumstance in Delhi is disturbing. One week from now, we will find a way to address it. The circumstance should go under control in 7-10 days,” said Kejriwal in a video press instructions.
