Donald Trump Pledges ‘Full Support’ To Vladimir Putin Over Russia Metro Attack
US President Donald Trump spoke Monday with Russian partner Vladimir Putin and vowed Washington’s “full support” for Moscow’s reaction to the savage assault on the Saint Petersburg metro, the White House said.
Trump communicated his sympathies and denounced the assault, which executed 11 individuals and left handfuls injured. Russian specialists said they were testing a “demonstration of fear.”
“President Trump offered the full support of the United States Government in reacting to the assault and conveying those dependable to equity,” the White House said in an announcement in regards to the telephone call.
“Both President Trump and President Putin concurred that psychological oppression must be definitively and immediately crushed.”
There was no quick claim of duty regarding the blast in Saint Petersburg, which comes after the Islamic State amass called for assaults on Russia in retaliation for its military mediation in Syria battling against the jihadists.
