Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has suspended all operations of Air India Express—the no-frill subsidiary of national carrier Air India Ltd—to operate across all airports in the country till 2 October after the airline was found to have carried covid-19 infected passengers on board of its flight to the Gulf nation on 4 September.

As per a correspondence routed to the aircraft’s territorial administrator of Gulf, Middle East, and Africa locale on 17 September, Dubai’s Civil Aviation Authority expresses that it is suspending the carrier’s activity in Dubai for a fortnight beginning 18 September as the air transporter disregarded set down conventions via conveying Coronavirus tainted traveler for the subsequent time.

A senior Air India Express authority said that the aircraft will redirect its Dubai-bound trips to Sharjah during the suspension time frame.

The most recent episode of suspension of Air India Express’s activity in Dubai comes a month after one of the aircraft’s Boeing 737 jetliners taking 191 individuals from Dubai slipped away a wet runway while arriving at the Kozhikode air terminal in Kerala. The airplane collided with a gorge, breaking into two and leaving 17 individuals, including the two pilots, dead and a few fundamentally harmed.
