ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) has successfully launched its latest earth observation satellite (EOS-01), as well as nine satellites from customer nations, on board the PSLV-C49 launch vehicle from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota on Saturday evening.

At 3.34 pm ISRO said the client satellites had isolated and been infused into their planned circles. Six minutes sooner the space organization said India’s EOS-01 satellite had isolated from the fourth phase of the PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) rocket and been infused into space.

Not long after the dispatch Prime Minister Modi tweeted, offering ISRO his congrats.
“I compliment ISRO and India’s space industry for the effective dispatch of PSLV-C49/EOS-01 Mission today. In the hour of COVID-19, our researchers conquered numerous requirements to fulfill the time constraint,” the Prime Minister said.
