Another useful feature has come on Facebook. If you want to see your Facebook photos in Google Photos then now this can be done through the new data transfer tool.

Social networking giant Facebook has announced a new tool for all its users. Facebook is rolling out a global photo transfer tool for its users. Through this new tool, Facebook users can move their photos and videos directly to Google Photos.

It is very easy to transfer photos through this Facebook tool. To use this tool one has to go to the Settings section of Facebook. After this, search ‘Your Facebook Information’. Under this tab, you will get the option of ‘Transfer a copy of your photos or videos’. After selecting this option, Facebook will ask you to enter the account password for verification. After this, Google Photos option has to be selected from the dropdown menu. To complete the transfer process, the user needs to confirm by entering their Google Photos password.

Facebook users can use this tool through both mobile apps and desktop versions. Once the photos, videos are transferred, in addition to the Facebook notification, a confirmation notification will also be given on email.

Facebook recently partnered with Google Photos and the company is currently planning to integrate new partners. Let us know that this feature was recently made available for Facebook users in Canada and America. However, the company first announced this tool in December last year under the ‘Data Transfer Project’ of 2018.

The objective of the data transfer project is to offer an open-source platform so that users can move data among their online service providers whenever they want.
