Film City will be produced soon in UP: Raju Srivastava
Famous comedian Raju Srivastava, chairman of Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council, welcomed CM Yogi’s decision. He told that the work of Film City will start soon.
In Uttar Pradesh too, the sound of ‘light-camera-action ..’ will soon be echoed. It has been decided to make a film city between the capital Lucknow and Kanpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has approved the proposal of Film City.
The land will be given at 25 percent subsidy for the film city to be built between Lucknow-Kanpur. Famous comedian Raju Srivastava, chairman of Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council, welcomed CM Yogi’s decision. He told that the work of Film City will start soon.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also given instructions to consider the possibilities of constructing a cinema hall of the capacity of 100 spectators in rural areas and to prepare a plan in this regard. He directed the officials not to let the directors face any obstacles in the production of the film. If there are any technical problems then they should be resolved soon.
Significantly, the government has already said that there are good locations for making films in Uttar Pradesh. Many Bollywood movies have also been shot in cities like Kanpur, Lucknow, and Banaras in Uttar Pradesh. Many big film producers and directors have approached to shoot films in Uttar Pradesh.
