FIR Against 11 Sanitizer Brands After Quality Test In Haryana
A notice has also been issued to cancel or suspend the license of the brands whose samples failed the tests, Anil Vij said.
Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday said cases have been registered against 11 sanitizer brands after their samples failed quality parameters.
The examples were gathered from across different locales in the state.
A notification has likewise been given to drop or suspend the permit of the brands whose examples bombed the tests, Mr. Vij said.
He said around 248 examples were gathered by the Food and Drug Administration of Haryana, out of which test reports of 123 examples have been gotten.
“Out of the reports got up until this point, 109 examples breezed through quality assessments, while 14 fizzled. Among these, 9 brands were discovered unsatisfactory, while 5 brands were found with an extreme amount of methanol present in it, which is unsafe,” he said.
He said guidelines have been given to hold onto the whole supply of the sanitizer brands which bombed the tests from the market.
Mr. Vij said that at the underlying phase of the coronavirus pandemic episode, a grievance of selling of phony sanitizers in the market was gotten, because of which the Food and Drug Administration was told to lead attacks in the whole Haryana.
