Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla Arrives In Nepal

Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla arrived in Kathmandu today for a two-day official visit to Nepal during which he will hold talks with his Nepalese counterpart and other top leaders and discuss wide-ranging areas of bilateral cooperation.
Mr. Shringla’s lady visit to Nepal is at the greeting of Nepal Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal, in the midst of a strain in reciprocal ties following an unpleasant fringe line between the two nations.
This will be a continuation of the customary trade of elevated level visits between the two benevolent neighbors, the Nepalese Foreign Ministry said in an explanation this week.
