To say that Google as a company loves to rebrand its services would be a massive understatement. And today, it’s done it again. The bundle of services previously known as G Suite is now called Google Workspace.

This includes the same services as before, although with the new overall branding come new icons for the individual parts of Workspace, including Gmail, in what is the biggest change to its iconography since its inception. Gone is the envelope, while the M has stayed but isn’t all red anymore, now incorporating all the Google colors.

A similar rationale applies to different symbols also, which all have the Google tones in them in some grouping – regardless of whether we’re discussing Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, or others.

The brand character is steady between administrations now, and there’s likewise another, incorporated client experience to go with it, for paying clients. Purchasers will get this “soon”.

When you approach the new work process, you’ll have the option to make and team up on a report with visitors in a talk room, share content, cooperate with individuals outside your association, and significantly more – all from one spot. Visit, email, voice, and video calling, just as substance the board and cooperation are all aspects of the Workspace home.

In Docs, Sheets, and Slides, you would now be able to review a connected record without opening another tab, and when you @mention somebody in your report, a shrewd chip will show contact subtleties for that individual, give setting, and propose activities like adding them to your Contacts or connecting through the visit, email, or video.

Meet picture-in-picture video calls are coming to Docs, Sheets, and Slides, following the rollout to Gmail and Chat.
