Govt issues new rules for Vande Bharat Mission flights
As per the Civil Aviation Ministry’s guidelines, the cost of travel will have to be borne by the travelers.
The Indian govt on Monday announced Standard Operating Procedures for travel on Vande Bharat and Air Transport Bubble Flights for inbound and outbound travel. As per the Civil Aviation Ministry’s guidelines, the cost of travel will have to be borne by the travelers. “At the time of boarding all travelers to undergo thermal screening. Only asymptomatic travelers to be allowed to board,” it added.
“Class of people qualified to travel will be allowed by the Home Ministry every now and then. Common Aviation Ministry will show on its site the class of people qualified to go out of India,” it read.
Apply to the Civil aeronautics organization
The qualified people would need to apply to the common aeronautics organization or their assigned office alongside their essential subtleties. “Travel will be on non-booked business trips as permitted by the Civil Aviation Ministry. While locally available, safety measures, for example, wearing covers, hand cleanliness, and so forth to be seen by staff group and all travelers,” it included.
With respect to inbound flight, the classification of people qualified to travel would be allowed by the Union Home Ministry.
“Travelers of Vande Bharat Flights must enroll themselves with Indian Missions abroad. Air Transport Bubbles plans don’t require such enlistment. They will go by non-booked business flights/ships permitted by the administration,” the rules expressed.
Cost of movement
For inbound trips also the expense of movement would be borne by the explorers. Just COVID-19 negative group and staff will be permitted to work flights and ships.
The SOP additionally expressed that the External Affairs Ministry “to set up a database of all Vande Bharat explorers” and offer it with separate States and Union Territories ahead of time.
Air Transport Bubbles travelers
As per the SOP, the Airlines to “submit subtleties of all Air Transport Bubbles travelers and offer it with the concerned Indian Missions abroad with a duplicate to State/Union Territory government”.
“The External Affairs Ministry and Civil Aviation service to show online the timetable of the approaching flights/transports, in any event, two days ahead of time. All voyagers to give an endeavor that they are making the excursion at their own hazard,” the SOP expressed.
“Travelers showing up through land outskirts to experience a similar convention. Rules on conventions and isolate as given by the Health Ministry will be watched,” the rules expressed further.
Upwards of 11,23,000 Indians abandoned abroad have been repatriated by various modes under Vande Bharat Mission (VBM) till August 19, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Thursday.
