American cult-bike maker Harley-Davidson on Saturday said it is working with its new partner Hero MotoCorp to “ensure a smooth transition” for its customers in India, including after-sale services and warranty.

They have inked a circulation understanding, under which Hero MotoCorp will sell and administration Harley-Davidson bikes. It will likewise sell parts and extras and general product riding stuff and clothing through an organization of brand-select Harley-Davidson vendors and Hero’s current business network in India.

Harley-Davidson Managing Director (Asia Emerging Markets and India) Sajeev Rajasekharan said in an assertion, “As we change our plan of action in India, we are satisfied to be proceeding with our excursion in the nation along with Hero MotoCorp. We are working intimately with Hero to guarantee a smooth change for our riders.”

The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations said the exit of the American clique bicycle creator would prompt loss of up to ₹130 crores for the brand’s seller accomplices in the nation alongside work loss of up to 2,000 specialists over the bicycle producer’s vendors.
