The announcement was made by the national transporter on Sunday. Recently, Indian Railways said that some railway passengers buy their train tickets through agents or the IRCTC accounts of others, thus, their own contact number does not get registered in the Passenger Reservation System (PRS) system. As indicated by an assertion gave by Indian Railways, all railroad travelers are mentioned to enroll their own portable number just as the sole contact number. This is to guarantee that they get the SMS sent by the public carrier with respect to any adjustment in a train’s time plan or some other data conveyed by Indian Railways to assist the travelers.

  • Then, save the number “+91-9881193322” (Railofy’s train inquiry number) on a mobile phone. With this, the number will be added to the WhatsApp contact list.
  • Now tap on the new message button on the WhatsApp mobile app to open the contact list.
  • Choose the Railofy contact from the contact list and then type the 10 digit PNR number in the message window.
