IRCTC Introduces New Rules in Railway Ticket Booking

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced a new rule for ticket booking. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, some changes were made to the rules to follow the protocol.
IRCTC has now concluded that the subsequent reservation diagram will be readied 30 minutes before the booked flight of trains. Throughout the previous hardly any months, due to the Covid pandemic, the subsequent diagram was readied two hours ahead of time so as to tell the travelers who had booked the billet in a train.
Before the Covid-19 flare-up, IRCTC used to deliver the main diagram four hours before the flight of the train. For booking of the excess seats, voyagers could move toward traveler reservation framework (PRS) counters even 30 minutes before the train’s takeoff. They could likewise book the seats online before the arrangement of the subsequent reservation outline. The seats were assigned on the early bird gets the worm premise.

Indian Railways in an assertion said that the subsequent reservation diagrams were readied 30 minutes to 5 minutes before the takeoff of the train. · Select journey date and class of coach

· The berth fare of the particular train along with the number of available seats on a particular date will be displayed
· Click on ‘Book Now’ if there are seats available
· At this stage, you will be asked to log in to your IRCTC account
· Enter your credentials to login
· Fill in the details of passenger(s) to book the seats
· Pay the fare of the seat(s) to finalise your booking
