J&K: Another jolt for PDP as 3 more senior leaders quit party
Dhaman Bhasin, Fallail Singh and Pritam Kotwal alleged that the PDP has become “B team” of National Conference
Barely days ahead of district development council (DDC) election in Jammu and Kashmir and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) suffered another jolt as three senior leaders quit the party on Thursday.
In a letter gave to media houses, pioneers Dhaman Bhasin, Fallail Singh, and Pritam Kotwal claimed that the PDP has become “B group” of National Conference (NC). It must be noticed that Bhasin and Singh were among the establishing individuals from the PDP.
They additionally said the PDP has surrendered Mufti Mohammed Sayeed’s vision and that “corrupt, common components with secretive character” have dominated.
“Putting our political profession in question, we joined PDP – from the absolute first day of its development – with an intention to give a mainstream choice to degenerate and dynast NC as late Mufti Mohammed Sayeed had a dream to baffle abhorrent plans of mutual and parochial components yet the gathering initiative has, lamentably, surrendered Mufti Sahib’s plan to become B group of NC,” the letter, marked the three, perused.
“The gathering authority has as of late given some profoundly provocative and dubious explanations contrary to the fundamental standards of the originator of the gathering. Keeping in view the common circumstance, being followers of late Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, it is hard for us to work in the gathering which has become a supportive role to the NC,” it added.
When reached, Singh would not distinguish said public and parochial components yet kept up that the gathering has digressed from the vision of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
When inquired as to whether they will likewise join Congress, similar to TS Bajwa, Ved Mahajan, and Choudhary Hussain Ali Wafa, Singh said they haven’t chosen at this point.
In October, previous MP Bajwa, previous MLC, and general secretary Mahajan and Hussain A Wafa had presented their acquiescence letters, saying that Mehbooba Mufti’s comments had “hurt energetic assumptions”. Lashing out at the Center, Mufti, a previous J&K boss priest, had said that she won’t raise some other banner till the banner of the recent state was reestablished.
