Kapil Dev undergoes emergency coronary angioplasty after suffering chest pain

Kapil Dev, the former India World Cup-winning captain, has undergone a coronary angioplasty surgery after he was admitted to Fortis Hospital in New Delhi late Thursday night due to chest pain.
The 61-year-old is still viewed as one of the best all-rounders that the cricket world has delivered. He drove India to their first World Cup win in 1983.
“Mr. Kapil Dev came to Fortis Escorts Heart Institute (Okhla Road) crisis office at 1:00 am on 23rd October with an objection of chest torment. He was assessed and a crisis coronary angioplasty was acted in the night,” said an emergency clinic explanation.
“Presently, he is conceded in ICU and under the nearby oversight of Dr. Atul Mathur and his group. Kapil Dev is steady now and he is relied upon to get released in two or three days.”
Indian Cricketers Association (ICA) President Ashok Malhotra, a companion of Kapil, revealed to PTI that the famous cricketer is doing fine.
