Calling for a boycott of Zomato due to its Chinese funding, about a dozen delivery personnel burnt the company’s uniform for delivery agents outside the Behala police station in south Kolkata.

Amid growing chorus to boycott Chinese companies, a group of delivery personnel working with food delivery app Zomato have decided to tender mass resignations opposing Chinese investment in the company.

Requiring a blacklist of the application based food conveyance administration, around twelve conveyance staff consumed the organization’s uniform for conveyance operators outside the Behala police headquarters in south Kolkata. With the Indian tricolor close by, the conveyance men raised mottos like “Chinese specialist Zomato leave India!”.
