In fact, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry had late Wednesday allowed Kulbhushan Jadhav to appeal against the death penalty. Now the Indian authorities will sign Kulbhushan’s reconsideration petition.

Pakistan gave the opportunity to appeal

Pakistan’s foreign ministry said late Wednesday evening that the appeal and review petition could be filed by Jadhav or his legal representative or India’s Counselor Officer in Islamabad. Earlier, Pakistan had said that Kulbhushan Jadhav, an Indian prisoner facing the death penalty, has refused to file an appeal in the Islamabad High Court against the conviction by the military court. However, India has termed Pakistan’s claim as ‘farce’.
