In this meeting, the Chief Minister assessed the condition of Corona in Bihar and after that, it has decided to lockdown from 16 to 31 July.

Bihar Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi tweeted that the Bihar government has decided to lockdown from 16 to 31 July. He informed that the Municipal Body, District Headquarters, Sub-Division, and Block Headquarters will remain under lockdown for 15 days. He also informed us that a guideline is being prepared for the lockdown from 16 to 31 July. Sushil Kumar Modi said that there is no medicine or vaccine for the corona epidemic. There are only one means of protection from this, we all make sure to apply mask, towel, or handkerchief on our face.

The scope of the global pandemic corona continues to grow. Despite millions of efforts of the government, people do not seem ready to follow the guidelines. Now the fear of corona infection can be seen clearly in party offices. Actually, a sample of 75 BJP people was taken on Monday, out of which 25 people were found to be Corona positive. Many political party leaders and government officials are vulnerable to Corona

Since Bihar assembly elections are proposed in October-November, the activities of political parties have also increased. Although most political parties are holding their meetings through virtual means in the Corona transition period, the gathering of workers in the party office is still taking place. In such a situation, there is an outbreak of corona infection in the workers along with the leaders of political parties. Apart from political party leaders, government officials have also started getting signs of corona infection.

According to the information received, the Additional Chief Secretary of Bihar has also been found to be Corona positive, at the moment he is being told in the Home Quarantine. Although it is yet to be officially confirmed, in addition to these, many government officials and policemen have been reported to be consistently corona positive.
