Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tandon has passed away. His son Ashutosh Tandon gave this information. Earlier on Monday, there were reports that Lalji Tandon was in critical condition and was on a ventilator. He was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow. Lalji Tandon was very close to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. BSP chief Mayawati also considered Lalji Tandon as her brother and tied her rakhi.

Actually, Lalji Tandon has died at the age of 85. He has also been an MP from Lucknow. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan also went to Lucknow to meet him after his health deteriorated. He was a strong leader of UP BJP
