Maharashtra home minister gets 2 more threat calls, one from Kangana Ranaut’s fans
Several Maharashtra coalition government leaders have taken a stance against Kangana Ranaut.
Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh received two more threat calls on Wednesday morning after three such calls were made over the last four days. One of the fresh threat calls was reportedly from Himachal Pradesh and is believed to have been made by actor Kangana Ranaut’s fans, who were upset after the minister announced a probe into allegations of drug abuse by Ranaut.
As per the authorities from the workplace of the home priest, Deshmukh got two more danger calls at around 6am on Wednesday. One of them was from Himachal Pradesh, the home province of Ranaut.
Deshmukh had gotten three brings over the most recent three days; one of them was made to his office in Nagpur.
“The guest communicated discontent over the announcements by the clergyman against Kangana. Police have been insinuated about the calls,” the authority said mentioning namelessness.
Clergyman Anil Deshmukh told HT, “Truly, I have gotten the (danger) calls and the Mumbai wrongdoing branch has been examining it.”
Deshmukh on Tuesday, the second and finishing up day of the storm meeting of the state council, had declared a test into claims of medication maltreatment by Ranaut previously.
Her implied previous beau Adhyayan Suman had in a meeting three years prior said that she was on drugs and had constrained him to devour the opiate substance also. This was brought to the notification of the home clergyman by Shiv Sena lawmakers Sunil Prabhu and Pratap Sarnaik on Tuesday.
“Sena officials Prabhu and Sarnaik had raised the issue about the disclosure against Ranaut that she was on drugs. Suman was involved with her and he had said that she used to constrain him to take sedates also. Mumbai Police will investigate the charges,” Deshmukh said. The pastor had said a week ago that Ranaut reserved no option to remain in Mumbai or in Maharashtra as she had offended the state by comparing it with the Pak Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Boss pastor Uddhav Thackeray’s own habitation Matoshree, as well, had gotten danger approaches Saturday followed by danger calls to Nationalist Congress Party boss Sharad Pawar on Monday.
