NEET 2020: 85-90 percent students appeared for the exam- Education Minister shares details
Education Minister revealed that 85-90 percent of students appeared for the NEET exam conducted on Sunday. The exam was conducted by maintaining all SOPs issued by the Health Ministry.
National Testing Agency, NTA conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam, NEET 2020 on Sunday, September 13. Around 85 to 90 percent of students appeared for the examination that was conducted across the country in 3000+ exam centers, revealed Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
The Education Minister in his tweet expressed gratitude toward the Chief Ministers of the state and NTA for appropriate game plans that were made for the lead of the test to encourage understudy interest.
According to information, around 15.97 lakh understudies enrolled for the test out of which 15 lakh understudies showed up for the NEET 2020 assessment. The NEET was hung on Sunday the nation over in the midst of severe checks and conventions taking into account the Covid-19 pandemic.
In Odisha, an expected 88 percent of the all-out applicants showed up for the clinical selection test. NEET State Nodal official Polly Patnaik while addressing PTI stated, “An expected 88 percent of the applicants showed up for the NEET assessment today.” A sum of 37,459 competitors has enlisted for the assessment.
