NIA arrests Mundra dockyard supervisor who worked as ISI agent

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a supervisor at Mundra dockyard in Gujarat, who allegedly worked as an agent of Pakistani spy agency ISI, an official said.
Rajakbhai Kumbhar, an inhabitant of West Kutch in Gujarat, captured on Sunday regarding the examination of ‘Guard/ISI instance’ of Uttar Pradesh, the NIA official said.
The case relates to a FIR enlisted on January 19 at Lucknow’s Gomti Nagar police headquarters on the capture of Mohammad Rashid from Mughalsarai in Chandoli locale, he said.
The NIA re-enlisted the case on April 6 under the pertinent areas of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the authority said.
During the examination, it was uncovered that Rashid was in contact with guard or ISI handlers in Pakistan and visited the neighboring nation twice, the authority said.
He had sent photos of touchy and deliberately significant establishments in India and furthermore shared data about the development of the military with his ISI handlers in Pakistan, a NIA representative said.
Examination uncovered that Kumbhar functioned as an ISI specialist and moved Rs 5,000 through Paytm in the record of one Rizwan which was additionally given over to the primary denounced Rashid, the representative said.
This sum was transmitted to Rashid by Kumbhar on the headings of ISI handlers for the data provided, he said.
A hunt was directed at the place of Kumbhar on Thursday and a few implicating records were seized. Further examination for the situation was in progress.
