‘No corona, corona no’: Union Minister Ramdas Athawale coins slogan for new coronavirus strain
In February, a video of Athawale along with a Chinese diplomat and Buddhist monks chanting “Go corona, go corona” at a prayer meeting went viral on social media.
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, whose “go corona, corona go” chant earlier this year grabbed attention, has now come up with another slogan to “combat” the new coronavirus strain — “No corona, corona no”. He also said his earlier slogan was effective since “corona is going”, referring to the dipping caseload in the country.
“Prior I gave the motto ‘Go Corona, Corona Go’ and now the crown is going. For the new Covid strain, I give the motto of ‘No Corona, Corona No,” the Republican Party of India (RPI) boss told correspondents in Pune.

In February, a video of Athawale alongside a Chinese representative and Buddhist priests reciting “Go crown, go crown” at a supplication meeting turned into a web sensation via online media. The video was purportedly taken shots at the Gateway of India on February 20 during a supplication meeting to stop the spread of Covid in China.
Athawale is an individual from the Rajya Sabha and pastor of state for social equity in the Narendra Modi-drove government. “I will meet BJP president J P Nadda to talk about a potential union for West Bengal Assembly races. We anticipate (BJP to save for us) around 10 seats,” he said.
The clergyman himself had tried positive for Covid-19 in October. Recently, Athawale said a Covid-19 antibody would be accessible in the nation in a couple of months. “The Covid will be there for another six-multi month, yet it needs to go one day. When the immunization comes, a crown will go from here,” he supposedly said.
Another SARS-CoV-2 variation has been uncovered to be the explanation for the fast flood in Covid-19 cases in South and East England. From that point forward, India and a few different nations, have suspended UK flights and forced travel limitations.
India enlisted 18,732 new instances of Covid-19, the most reduced in almost a half year, while 97,61,538 individuals have recovered so distant from the sickness pushing the public recuperation rate to 95.82 percent, as per the Union Health Ministry information refreshed on Sunday.
