Kim Jong Un South Korea: North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has suspended military action against neighboring South Korea. Kim Jong Un took the decision after the Central Military Commission meeting. The cause of Kim Jong’s change of heart has not been revealed yet.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has decided to postpone military action against South Korea amid growing tensions with it. According to Pyongyang’s official news agency ‘Korean Central News Agency’, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un chaired a meeting of the ruling worker’s party’s Central Military Commission via video conference on Tuesday.

At this meeting, it was decided to postpone plans for military action against South Korea brought by North Korean military leaders. KCNA, however, did not provide information on why the decision was taken. Meanwhile, the spokesman of South Korea’s Unification Ministry, Yoh Sang-ki, said that he is closely monitoring the North Korea report. However, he did not give any detailed information in this regard.

‘Military action postponed, not canceled’

Kim Dong-yub, an expert at the Seoul Institute for ‘Far Eastern Studies’, said that North Korea may now be waiting for action on behalf of the South Korean, and instead of taking a soft stand towards its enemy There is a way to strengthen. Kim is a former South Korean military officer who participated in inter-Korean military talks.

He said, “It is clear that North Korea has said that it has postponed military action, not a cancellation.” Earlier, as tensions between the two countries escalated, North Korea sent troops to inter-Korean cooperation sites, guarding posts. There was talk of building and starting military exercises along the border with South Korea. All these steps were restricted in the agreement reached between the two countries in 2018. These steps by North Korea will invalidate the 2018 agreement stating that both countries will not commit any hostile activity against each other.
