“Open Competition”: Yogi Adityanath On Sena’s Attack Over Bollywood Meet
Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday visited Mumbai to meet film personalities seeking suggestions for the ambitious UP film city project.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has responded to the Shiv Sena’s charge that his Wednesday meeting with Bollywood personalities was part of a plan to poach the Mumbai film industry for an upcoming film city near Noida. He said there is an “open competition” between states and those who can provide better facilities will win investments.
“We are not grabbing or ruining anybody’s ventures. Nobody can take anything along. It doesn’t care for a handbag which moves removed. This is an open rivalry. One who can give a protected environment, better offices – and particularly government-backed retirement – in which one can work without segregation will get speculations,” he was cited as saying by news organization PTI.

The Chief Minister, who had met genius Akshay Kumar on Tuesday, met producers Boney Kapoor, Manmohan Shetty, Jayantilal Gada, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Anil Sharma, Honey Trehan, and Umesh Shukla on Wednesday. Entertainers Arjun Rampal, Satish Kaushik, and Ravi Kishan additionally went to the gathering.
The decision Shiv Sena firmly protested Yogi Adityanath’s effort to movie producers. Boss Minister Uddhav Thackeray said he won’t let anybody grab away the entertainment world.
“A few people are coming today and will meet you, asking you to put resources into their states. Be that as it may, they don’t know about our attractive force. It is amazing to such an extent that no businesses from Maharashtra will go to their state,” he said.
Mr. Thackeray said Maharashtra was not envious of the advancement of some other state. “Let them progress by contending. However, on the off chance that somebody endeavors to coercively remove (our) organizations to their states, at that point I won’t permit it to occur”.
The UP CM denied the Shiv Sena’s charge.
“We are making something new. For what reason would you say you are getting concerned? We are giving another top-notch foundation to all. Henceforth, everyone should grow up, augment figuring; better offices should be given. One who can do that will get the individuals,” he said.
Recently, Yogi Adityanath had reported a film city greater than that of Mumbai’s. The UP government has recognized a 1,000-section of land plot close to the impending Jewar air terminal for the office.
