The Cola brand has yet again extended moment marketing to celebrity endorsement, with no possible long-term association. Does it work well?

Prior this week, PepsiCo, India’s driving food and beverage company, brought on-screen character Sonu Sood locally available for its computerized video battle. The ‘lockdown hero’ (Sood) has been in the news of late for all the valid justifications – an open door that no brand might want to miss, particularly not Pepsi. Recollect the Cola monster burned through no time in taking advantage of the lucky break to ride on the fame of Charulata Patel, the cric-crack granny who supported the ‘Men dressed in Blue’ in the India-Bangladesh one-day coordinate on July 2, 2019.
