Pixel 2 is coming this year, confirms Google
Google’s Pixel cell phone this year was a huge reset for the organization’s versatile equipment procedure – and one that earned a great deal of acclaim from clients and commentators. Uplifting news for the individuals who loved it: Pixel’s successor will arrive at some point in 2017, as affirmed by Google SVP of Hardware Rick Osterloh to Android Pit at MWC this year.
It sounds like the Pixel 2 will proceed with the convention of the first – Osterloh said it’ll stay “premium” in its next cycle, and he included that the organization isn’t keen on offering an ease rendition, inclining toward rather to give that section a chance to be tended to by its outside equipment accomplices.
While it was not out of the ordinary that Google would put out a cell phone this year, since the yearly discharge cycle for equipment is not really new, Osterloh’s affirmation reveals to us a couple of things about the organization’s technique that weren’t beforehand completely bound. In the first place, we know Google’s sticking with it with the new technique it set out with Pixel, whereby it plans to contend all the more specifically with the iPhone. Second, we know it won’t split its concentration by at the same time following mid-and low-showcase openings in the meantime.
This looks good for Google’s cell phone methodology. The primary Pixel is still the best Android cell phone accessible, as I would see it, and it’s great to see Google proceeding with that way.
