Pranab Mukherjee is admitted to the Army Research and Referral Hospital in Delhi. He underwent surgery after having a blood clot in his brain. During this time he was found to be infected with Coronavirus. He is placed on ventilator support in the ICU. His condition is still critical.

On Monday morning, Army Research and Referral Hospital Delhi said that Pranab Mukherjee was in critical condition. However, the bulletin issued by the hospital also said that Pranab Mukherjee’s clinical parameters are stable. They are placed on the ventilator itself.

Doctors at Army Research and Referral Hospital, Delhi Cantt, said that Pranab Mukherjee is being closely monitored. His condition continues to be critical. At the same time, his son Abhijeet Mukherjee said that his father’s condition is stable.

Former 84-year-old President Pranab Mukherjee underwent surgery to remove blood clots in his brain. His coronavirus test was also found positive before surgery.

Continuing critical condition after surgery

According to the medical bulletin, former President Pranab Mukherjee was admitted to the Army Hospital in Delhi Cantt on August 10 at 12.07 am in critical condition. His medical examination showed a large clot in his brain for which he underwent emergency surgery. His condition remains critical after surgery. “His condition has not shown any improvement since brain surgery,” the statement said. He is still on ventilator support.
