Rhea moves Supreme Court; seeks transfer of FIR to Mumbai
The controversy surrounding the unnatural death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput reached the Supreme Court on Wednesday with actress Rhea Chakraborty filing a petition seeking transfer of an FIR lodged against her in Patna to Mumbai, where probe into his death was on.
This follows the recording of a police objection by Rajput’s dad KK Singh in Patna against Chakraborty and six others, including her relatives, blaming them for abetting the on-screen character’s self-destruction.
Chakraborty has likewise looked for a stay on the test by Bihar Police on the FIR stopped by Rajput’s dad till the removal of her request by the Supreme Court.
Rajput (34) was discovered swinging from the roof of his condo in rural Bandra in Mumbai on June 14 and from that point forward the Mumbai Police have been examining the case remembering different edges.
