The clinical trials of the world’s first coronavirus vaccine on volunteers have been successfully completed at Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, Sputnik news agency reported quoting an official.
The Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University started clinical preliminaries of the antibody delivered by Russia’s Gamalei Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology on June 18.
“Sechenov University has effectively finished tests on volunteers of the world’s’ first antibody against coronavirus,” Vadim Tarasov, the executive of the Institute for Translational Medicine and Biotechnology said. The main gathering of volunteers would be released on Wednesday and the second on July 20, he included.
