Sayani Gupta Takes Dig at Shah Rukh Khan’s Gandhi Jayanti Post, Asks Him to ‘Speak Up for Truth’
Actress Sayani Gupta has taken a jibe at Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh for his stoic silence on the current state of affairs in the country. Shah Rukh had tweeted a picture of his children to mark Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi’s 151st birth anniversary on Friday. The photo shows his daughter Suhana and son AbRam striking the ‘three monkeys of Gandhi ji’ pose with another young girl.
“On the off chance that this Gandhi Jayanti there is One ideal we might want our kids to follow, in great occasions, awful occasions and all the time….it ought to be Hear no bad…see no bad….speak no awful! Recalling the estimation of truth on Gandhiji’s 151st Birth Anniversary,” Shah Rukh tweeted close by the image.
Citing his tweet, Sayani asked him to “support reality” and not “simply shut your ears and eyes and mouths.” She expressed, “State something. The Right thing. Gandhi additionally instructed us to support the Truth, the oppressed, the misused, for our Dalit siblings and sisters.”

Sayani’s remarks come in the wake of the passing of two Dalit ladies after they were purportedly assaulted in Hathras and Balrampur in Uttar Pradesh. It has caused cross country fierceness, with hundreds and thousands of protestors rampaging to show against the “developing rate” of station based wrongdoings in the nation.
Sayani worked with Shah Rukh in the 2016 film Fan, which considers SRK to be a twofold part as filmstar Aryan Khanna and fanatical fan Gaurav Chandna, who look simply like one another.
