The Indian Navy’s P-8I surveillance aircraft are constantly hovering in eastern Ladakh in the wake of tensions with China and now preparations are underway to put on board the MiG-29K. The deployment of these naval warships at different bases of the Air Force is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s instructions and the thinking of Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat.
