Sopore encounter: Police save 3-year-old from getting hit by bullets
This is the second attack on the CRPF in Sopore in the last three months. On April 18, terrorists fired at a CRPF party, killing three personnel.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police saved a three-year-old boy from getting hit by bullets during the encounter between the security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore on Wednesday.
A photograph posted on the Twitter handle of Kashmir Police indicated the kid being diverted by a policeman on the North Kashmir town.
One staff of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and non-military personnel were murdered while two other security power workforce got wounds in the gunbattle. Three other CRPF jawans have been harmed.

“We lost one CRPF workforce and one non-military personnel in a terrorist assault at Sopore. Three CRPF workforce likewise got harmed in the assault,” the Kashmir Police said on Twitter.
The encounter began after terrorists assaulted a CRPF’s street opening gathering when they were setting a check post alongside the workforce of Jammu and Kashmir police on the Sopore by-pass interstate in Model Town of Sopore.
The zone has been fixed and a search operation has been propelled. Authorities of the Indian Army and police are likewise on the spot.
