Sushant Singh Rajput case: Enforcement Directorate confiscated mobile phones and laptops of Riya Chakraborty
The ED has seized both Rhea Chakraborty’s mobile phones and laptops while proceeding to investigate the case of Sushant Singh Rajput. It is also reported that along with Riya, the mobile phones of his brother Shouvik and father Indrajit have also been seized. It is believed that some important information can be revealed from these electronic devices.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) probing financial irregularities in the Sushant Singh Rajput case has questioned Riya Chakraborty for several rounds. It is now reported that ED has seized 2 mobile phones and laptops of Riya. It is being told that ED Riya can get some important information from Riya’s mobile phone and laptop.
After long questioning, on Tuesday, August 11, ED has taken 2 mobile phones of Riya. Riya’s laptop and other electronic devices have also been seized. Along with this, it is also reported that the mobile phones of Riya’s brother Shouvik and his father Indrajit Chakraborty have also been seized by the ED. Earlier, during the investigation, ED found out that Riya had not given information about her another phone number, after which ED has taken this step.

Riya and her family are not cooperating in the investigation
According to the recent news, Riya Chakraborty and her family are not supporting the ED investigation even after the hour-long questioning. Riya and her family have not answered many ED questions. The ED came to know after an inquiry on the first day that Riya was also using another mobile phone. After this, another phone was also called after sending Riya’s brother.
Riya is not giving information about the source and expenses of the income
The ED is constantly seeking information from Riya Chakraborty about her income, investments, and expenses. For the last 2 days, ED is also questioning Sushant and Riya’s former business manager Shruti Modi. ED officials have said that Riya’s income tax returns show that there is a difference in her income and expenses. Riya has not given any satisfactory information about her property to the ED.
