Sushant Singh Rajput’s sisters, fearing arrest by CBI, request Bombay HC for early hearing
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sisters Priyanka and Meetu Singh, who have been named in an FIR by Rhea Chakraborty, are seeking an early hearing of their petition, as they reportedly fear being arrested by the CBI at any moment.
Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sisters — Priyanka and Meetu Singh — who’ve been named in an FIR by Rhea Chakraborty, have requested the Bombay High Court for an early hearing of their petition, fearing arrest.
The HC seat, involving Justices SS Shinde and MS Karnikhas, posted the request documented by Priyanka and Neetu Singh for additional consultation on November 4, as indicated by India Today. The sisters had documented a request to subdue Rhea’s FIR against them.
Rhea had blamed Priyanka and a specialist related with a Delhi clinic for illicitly endorsing prescriptions containing psychotropic substances, without counsel. Sushant passed on seven days after his sister urged him to devour the meds. Rhea referred to message trades between the entertainer and his sister as proof that he didn’t counsel a specialist prior to being advised to take the prescription.
In the appeal documented through supporter Madhav Thorat, Sushant’s sisters have guaranteed that the prescriptions are not restricted and the rules gave by the Medical Council of India (MCI) on April 11, for telemedicine “permits the medication to be recommended to a patient even at the primary discussion”.
“An exposed scrutiny of the grumbling alongside the FIR shows that the announcements made there don’t make out any cognizable offense,” the appeal expressed. “The housing of the objection by Chakraborty was only a weak endeavor on her part to leave the examinations against her and accuse Rajput’s relatives of his self-destruction, as she was nearly being captured by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB),” it further expressed.
Rhea’s legal counselor, Satish Maneshinde, has recorded an answer to the request. “Sushant was especially in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and not in New Delhi. That is likewise astonishing that Dr. Tarun Kumar being a Cardiologist thought it is fit to endorse drugs to an individual he didn’t have the foggiest idea and had never met with Psychotropic substances. There isn’t anything to demonstrate that there was ever any video chat held among Sushant and the charged specialist,” noticed Rhea’s testimony, as indicated by India Today.
Sushant was discovered dead at his Bandra condo on June 14. The Mumbai Police after its underlying examination administered his demise self-destruction. The case is currently being explored by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
